The Joshua Eyer Development Institute (JEDI BLUE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening those who serve our communities by providing free, high-quality martial arts training to first responders, veterans & their families.
Named in honor of Officer Joshua Eyer of Charlotte, North Carolina, JEDI BLUE was founded on the belief that service, discipline, and resilience deserve to be supported—both on and off duty. Our programs are designed to empower participants physically, mentally, and emotionally, fostering confidence, accountability, and community through structured martial arts instruction.
JEDI BLUE’s Youth Mentorship program guides young participants in developing confidence, discipline, and leadership through martial arts. By combining structured training with positive role models, we teach respect, accountability, and resilience that extend beyond the mat.
JEDI BLUE’s Heroes Training program is dedicated to first responders, veterans, and their families, providing no-cost martial arts instruction to strengthen body, mind, and spirit. Participants develop practical skills, mental resilience, and confidence while connecting with a supportive community that understands the demands of service.
